Ubuntu: Wireless but no internet on 16.04 (Lubuntu)

I currently have the "wireless but no internet" problem that others have mentioned in Ubuntu forums. I have wireless internet on Apple, Windows, and Android devices and ethernet internet with my Ubuntu (16.04) computer - which is actually a partition on an old Macbook which does have wireless internet when I boot into Mac OS (Snow Leopard).

I found a suggestion to run: route -n The result was: Kernel IP routing table Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface

I then ran: sudo ip route add default via The result was: RTNETLINK answers: Network is unreachable

I have run a recommended diagnostic script and the results may be found at: https://pastebin.ubuntu.com/p/vfjXxg3zqN/

Thanks for your help
