Ubuntu: Installing Ubuntu onto USB-flashsrive, doesn't show up in boot menu

Question:

I burned the Live-Image to my 16gb Flash Drive - Rebooted into the installer - selected "something else" - I created 2 partitions, a 24gb swap and ext4 with the rest capacity (about 100gb) - I selected to install GRUB on dev/sdc - completed the rest of the setup

Now I restarted my computer and opened my boot menu - i only saw the windows bootloader

It obviously also doesn't show up in the windows disk manager, but it does in the live tryout of ubuntu and the installer.

I'm really confused on why i can't see it in my BIOS and boot-menu
