Ubuntu: Ubuntu 16.04 - How to display hard disk details in computer like it does on Windows in My computer ? [closed]

Question:

In Windows, whenever I click "My Computer", the details come up of all drives. I need the same thing in Ubuntu 16.04, when I click the computer icon - complete details of hard disks as shown in Windows 7, 8, 10.

Solution:1

Menu -> Show Applications -> Disk Usage Analyzer and/or Disks should give what you want.

You can directly search for it by Power/Windows button and typing Disk. There are 2 utilities that comes by default in ubuntu : Disks and Disk Usage Analyzer. That is assuming you are using Desktop version.

Solution:2

You should try installing gparted

sudo apt install gparted -y

Then go to Menu -> Gparted
