Ubuntu: still having problems mounting ntfs hard drive with win 10 installed [closed]

Question:

I have tried all the suggested things I can find but still getting "can't mount drive ... unstable..." type messages. I Have disabled fast boot run chkdisk but still having the problem. Config is HDD 0 80GB IDE with Ubuntu, HDD 1 500GB SATA with win 10 installed, AMD QUAD CORE CPU, Legacy BIOS Boot, 4GB RAM.

Any suggestions?

Did you already deactivate Fast Startup on your Windows 10 system? If not, this is probably the problem because Windows 10 doesn't really shutdown completely by default.

Because there is already a great answer concerning that issue, here the link: Unable to mount Windows (NTFS) filesystem due to hibernation
