Ubuntu: Dell Inspiron N5110 Touchpad not detected

As above my touchpad is not detected by the system. version is Ubuntu 12.04

Can anyone help me?


Solution:1

Just press Ctrl+Alt+T on your keyboard to open Terminal. When it opens, run the command below.

sudo gconftool-2 --set --type boolean /desktop/gnome/peripherals/touchpad/touchpad_enabled true
